My inspiration comes from what happens around me, both at perception and at emotional level. I start my work from the different situations I live and from my reflections and drawings, and they slowly take form. My sculptures go through a long process before they are completed. The shape changes continually, where it is full, it is emptied, it grows, and it sometimes disappears. The dimensions and materials change, and with time and care they evolve. When the shape is clear, then the technique comes into action. The aim is to materialize the idea and , at the same time, not to interfere in the language or the message of the work. The materials must be unified, without connotations. I like to find the dialogue between hard and soft materials. I think that this aspect is very suggestive. For example, some soft materials, with a fragile body, are powerful and favour the dialogue. This exchange, the way they interact, promotes their personality and respects their limits without creating conflict or distorting the message of the work. As far as the shape is concerned, I like abstractions without connotations, the enjoyment of reality to find my inner world, the shape soul, that is to say, the feelings…. This process, difficult to explain, because it is intuitive and instinctive, brings me to an inner space where I learn to grow with perseverance, patience and love, without limitations.
